Q: How did you get interested in (knitting, crocheting, crafting)? How did you learn?

When I was a teenager, my boyfriend’s sister (she is now my sister-in-law) taught me.  I have always loved crafting with different colors, so I took to it right away.  The only problem was that I was left-handed and she taught me to do it right-handed.  I enjoyed crochet so much that I awkwardly practiced, creating my first project, a very crooked granny square.  Fortunately, a friend of her grandmother’s taught me to crochet left-handed and that made all the difference.  I have loved it ever since.

Q: Who/what inspires you?

The friends I have made since I started making videos on Youtube have inspired me greatly.  We inspire each other by sharing our projects that we are working on.  I am motivated to try new stitches and work on a variety of projects.

Q: Favorite Premier Yarn?

What do you love about it?:  I love Premier Anti-pilling Everyday Worsted.  It has a wide array of colors. It washes well and does not split when crocheting with it.  It also has a great shine to it.

Q: What other hobbies do you enjoy?

Although crochet is my favorite hobby, I also sew and knit a little.

Q: What’s your favorite yarn project to make?

I enjoy making afghans, baby blankets, and stuffed animals.

Q: Where is your favorite place to crochet?

I have a great craft room, although, I have been known to crochet anywhere.

Q: Any tips?

If you are changing colors in your project, weave in your yarn ends as you go.  That way, you won’t have all of them to weave in at the end of your project.
