I am knitting a scarf with this yarn. I like that it is soft, the colors are muted and the thread does not separate making it easy to work with.

This was my first foray into Basix yarn, so I ordered several skeins of the Sea and liked it so much I ordered more after trying it out on a swatch. I am hoping to make a hat/scarf set.

I selected this yarn to knit my middle great granddaughter a tabard sweater for Christmas. Her favorite color is usually pink but when I asked what color she wanted me to use, she surprisedly answered Rainbow. And, what do you know, there actually was a yarn by that name. I gave her the choice of the Rainbow yarn or several pinks. She wanted the Rainbow. It was a delight to work with had generous yardage, and didn’t split. We just selected buttons for the sides. She’s going to love the sweater.

I love Premier Yarns so much, particularly the Basix, that I order it from the U.K. I've even entertained the idea of getting on a plane with an empty suitcase just so I can stock up on wonderful Premier yarns.
Great stitch definition, lovely and soft to work with and washes/dries well - what more do you want from a yarn?
The price is great for all you lucky people who can source in the U.S. Costs me more with the shipping but it's so worth it.
