I have been using several types of yarn lately, but this one works extremely well for the amigurumi that I make. I can find several colors in this yarn, and find new colors as soon as they are released

I love all of the parfait chunky yarns they are so soft and work up really well

I’m new to crochet & amigurumi and saw majority of US crocheters using Premier yarn, which I actually started using premier yarn as they sell at dollar tree and that’s where I got most of my yarn at the start because I wasn’t sure if I’d enjoy the hobby or not and now I’m creating my own business due to it! But going from worsted to chenille premier yarns from dollar tree to placing my first official order for parfait chunky and I don’t think I can ever go back to the other yarns! It is SO soft and so smooth to work with! Prior to getting my first skein I did go to Michael’s and hobby lobby a lot and their skeins just don’t hold a match to the softness that parfait chunky has! I've never worked with chenille before and I dreaded it when my granddaughter asked me to make the Premier Big Hug pullover. I found it easier to work with on with metal needles. It had none of the drawbacks I'd read about chenille yarns such as shedding. Absolutely NO shedding. I didn't get any stringy gaps where the fluff came out. Even when I had to unpick a piece and redo it I had no problems at all. I did find it helpful to use a double wrap around my 'feeding' finger to help with getting a tighter tension. And I needed to go slowly and carefully with each stitch to maintain my tension. It's absolutely the softest yarn. My 2nd grandaughter wanted one too. And now all my 1st granddaughter's friends want one and are having fun choosing their own colorways. I found the Premier videos on YouTube about this yarn very helpful and I appreciate them. I would recommend anyone, like myself who's never worked with chenille to watch the videos before working with it. And it's very reasonably priced with a ton of colors. I do need to work on using a looser tension on my sewing up the sweater as you will see in he picture.

This yarn is so soft and wonderful to work with. I wish they had the colors in the next size of the super bulky. But my project is coming along beautifully.
