I bought six cones of this same yarn in different colors. I make prayer blankets for people in wheelchairs. The. Chenille is the most popularly requested yarn. So far, I have made one 60 x 72 Afghan, three wheelchair Afghans, and three lap Afghans. This Cone seems to last forever because I still have enough of each color to make several more Afghans at least! Aside from the sheer quantity of yarn on each cone, I have only had 2 knots in any of the six cones I purchased and have used so far. It ties on beautifully when adding new colors. I have had zero shedding and zero frays. I will absolutely be purchasing more of this for future projects. The recommended crochet hook size is eight, but I use a 9 mm hook because I drop less stitches with the 9 mm and the thickness of yarn. A word of warning; your first chain row is easy to make, but the second row is a bear! This yarn is so soft that the second row is very difficult to crochet. I would highly recommend an advanced crochet level., Simply for the difficulty in working that second row. Once I got to row three and throughout the remainder of my work I had no difficulties whatsoever working with this beautiful yarn.
