This gradient yarn is smooth, soft and not splitting. The color gradient is gentle. I made the winterberry blanket in fern green tones. Started from the light center and the cake ended in the dark tone. Then I started the 2nd cake from the dark outside and finished with light tone. 3rd cake started from light tone from center, etc. Used 6 cakes to completion. I love the look, love the blanket. Will buy this yarn again!!
