I was skeptical about this yarn at first since I do not usually work with acrylic yarns, but I was very pleased with this ! Almost no splitting and the feel is very silky smooth depending on what color you are using. The colors "fawn" and "fern green" that I purchased were so silky smooth, where as "ash" felt quite different but still overall great for this price point.
I could tell the difference in feel with the three colors I ended up purchasing. The "ash" color was a little more stiff in feel and also stiffer to work with. I had to get used to having to work my hooks and needles into this yarn versus the other two colors was seamless and easy to work up. This one almost seemed like a cotton/acrylic blend with a few white loose fibers here and there that I could pick out easily, but when washed and blocked this baby lovey/blanket was SO SOFT (even the color ash) I could not believe it! Highly recommend!
