Exceptionally soft, great colors but not easy to deal with!

This cowl was made on an 8-inch, double-knit loom on 24 pegs and is 15-inches in diameter. Yes, the color is spectacular and the yarn is shiny and very soft -- however, I tried to pull yarn from the interior of the skein and a "yarn barf" turned into a horrendous rat's nest. This yarn is two, loosely wound, unstructured, roving yarns with a tiny go-along strand with lumps that create spots. I don't know how you could crochet or needle-knit with it since loom-knitting this simple cowl was nightmarish!! It's gorgeous and I will probably make another simple cowl with the other skein I bought, Good luck, y'all!
