I got the size 2 with a 40" cord on clearance for like 80 cents. I couldn't pass these up, regardless of if I wouldn't like them or not, they were worth a try. I like wood for socks sometimes when I do more than stockinette or garter so the stitches don't slip off as easily. The tips are pointy enough for my liking. The cord needed to be soaked in some hot water to take the coil out of the cord but for that price, I have no real complaints. The cord is almost like a zing. Worse come to worse, if the cord breaks off, I can still turn them into double points. I'm honestly wishing I had bought more.
