This yarn is so soft and a dream to crochet with! I’m making a waffle stitch blanket and I absolutely love this yarn! It’s not messy, and using a square knot to start a new skein works perfectly!
The retro velvet yarn from Premier is one of only two plush yarns I will use while making blankets and small stuffed animals. It's beautiful, works up quickly and doesn't come pre-tangled in the skein. The softness of this yarn alone makes it worth it. I will be stocking up on more colors soon!
I’m working with the Aqua, which is just a lovely color. I am crocheting a shrug. This is my first big project in crochet. I am a longtime hand and machine knitter. I’m finding the yarn does not split, which is helpful for a beginner. I’m not used to working with such a bulky yarn, so I have to give my hands regular breaks. But this is going to be beautiful when done.
The colors of the skeins were beautiful and vibrant. The texture was soft and I experienced very little shedding while working with this both while crocheting and knitting.
I had ordered the mink and the rose just to give it a whirl.
-Using a smaller hook then suggested in amigurumi project, this yarn provided a gorgeous result.
-The end project is so soft and feels expensive.
-Parfait chunky just came in second, they are both great but this is my new favorite.
So came back and ordered every other color. Let's not forget that it comes in three skeins that are 306 yards a piece. Even when it is not on sale that is 12.00 for over 900 yards!!
