This is soft and great to work with. Love the tab for the end to pull. Hope they get varigated colors in this also. Wish I would have bought more !

I was so thrilled when this yarn was released that I immediately bought some in several colors. I'm currently using it on two different projects and am enjoying it. While not as soft as Premier's Cotton Sprout, it is softer than the other cotton yarns that are generally referred to as "kitchen" cottons. I will most likely use this yarn for a variety of projects that I would normally use those stiffer cottons on but will enjoy the process more since it is not as stiff or rough so will not be as tough on my hands. Just using any cotton can be tough on my hands since there is not as much stretch in that fiber, but using a cotton that is soft and flows evenly is much preferred. I am finishing up a mesh market bag in this yarn that is so much softer than the others that I've made in other cottons. I look forward to using this cotton yarn for so many other projects. Since I'm a tighter crocheter, I usually size up my hook from what is recommended. I have not had any issues with it splitting and the drape is pretty good for a cotton yarn.

As soon as one of my favorite crafter YouTubers let us know it was out, I enthusiastically went to purchase this yarn. The skeins are wound tightly so the yarn does not appear to be soft while it is in the skein. Once it is being used, the softness can be felt. My reason for 3 stars? It splits and untwists. The first skein had a knot less than one yarn in. The starter strand on the second skein (good job on the start sticker) was jammed into a hard ball of yarn barf, and I had to dig with a metal crochet hook to get it loose. I intended to knit a mosaic blanket with 5 different colors, but I think hot pads and other utility items will be a better choice.
