Very soft and comfortable for her to wear

I can’t express how much I love this yarn. I just placed my third order of it and I can’t get enough. It’s strong and sturdy like Lily and Cream, but is much more soft and silky feeling. Currently holding it together with a mohair to make a light and flowy cardigan! The fabric drapes wonderfully! This is probably the only cotton I’ll be using for a while! It has a great color selection. At some point I need to order a bit of each color for my cotton stash! 💚 I literally wanna make everything with it!

I'm making a blanket with this yarn, so I've spent a good amount of time working with it- both lace stitches and regular double crochets. Here's what I've noticed.

Pros:

-Soft and lovely to work with. Some yarns are rough and will make your fingers red- not this one! It's perfect for wearables, blankets, and stuffed animals.

-Beautiful, vibrant colors that look gorgeous on any project!

-No synthetic plastics and all the baggage that they bring.

-Strong material- it doesn't break or split too easily.

-Very reasonable price point

Cons:

-It tends to get a little hairy, fraying a bit as you go. Not a lot. Not super noticeably. But it happens. It's a bit of a pet peeve of mine and I'm always looking for yarns that don't do this.

-As you get close to the bottom, this yarn gets real tangled. And, hoo boy, it does not untangle easily. No matter how careful I am, I end up getting terribly tangled every time.

Making sweaters for my grandbabies: this yarn is perfect!

The Cotton Sprout DK is a wonderful yarn to work with. It is soft and pliable. I've used this line of Premier Yarns several times and have not had any issues with splitting of the yarn, joining of it or excess waste. I absolutely appreciate the color choices. It's many crochet hooks up from me.
