I use the Basix yarn for everything! It's soft, squishy, easy to use, cheap and comes in so many awesome colors!. Great for wearables, blankets, granny squares and Amigurumi. It has great stretch but also good for detail. Highly recommend this if you're looking for a staple yarn to use for anything.

I have avoided low-cost acrylic yarns ever since I discovered better yarns don't hurt my hands. But then I ended up getting this yarn and I was majorly impressed. This yarn is actually great! I am even planning on making a blanket for myself using this yarn soon, just because I really like this yarn. The price means I can actually afford to make blankets, while the yarn itself does not hurt my hands, is nice to the touch, and comes in so many good colors. Basically, I love this yarn.
