I use it for arugami, Afghans, bedspreads, hats, mittens, slippers and tons more things. It isn't extremely soft but it's a long way from scratchy. I don't use it for anything going on a baby.

I was surprised at how much I liked the yarn. It was easy to work with ... no splitting ... no splicing/knots in the yarn (something that annoys me and I am finding more and more often). The yarn feels softs. The final test will be how it preforms after being worn and washed. I will buy it again.

Only using red, white and blue JUST YARN and using some of your pattern stitiches to make them. I try to use the most comfortable and less expensive yarn as I make a lot of afghans each year for our local hospital.
