I have made socks in every “Fruits” yarn Premier sells. I was so excited for the veggie line! I bought each variety and love them all. So far the purple onion and carrot are my favorite but I’m still working on the eggplant and the pumpkin. Keep this line and the fruits! They make quirky, fun socks!!

Great yarn for making socks

Making some shortie socks for summer with the Farmstand yarn. Excited to wear them soon!

This yarn is wonderful to work with andxeadyb t o knit. I like the stretch of it. The tightness of the fabric when I use a size 2 needle is perfect.

This is excellent yarn and I will order this again and would recommend it for socks or other garments.

I selected the color, Purple Onion because I fell in love with it’s particular striping pattern. I enjoyed knitting a pair of sock shorties as the elasticity proved to be just right for socks. The ply held up so there was no yarn-splitting to contend with. One caution though: I initially used bamboo needles and found that the yarn was too grippy - also, in fairness I am a tight knitter - but switching to Karbonz needles completely eliminated that issue.

I’m not yet a fan of the other colorways but I will try one out to see if it makes my heart jump like purple onion.
