And like all our yarns, it’s super soft and great for next-to-the-skin wear! Spun from our premium superwash merino, it comes in an array of watercolor-multi, semi-solid, and variegated colorways.
When Malabrigo dyes their yarn, the same formula is used each time but every batch of yarn may vary. The differences from one dye lot to another can be very subtle, or extremely noticeable, especially on variegated yarns.
I love Malabrigo yarns, they are soft and squishy, with none of the scratchiness you get from some wool yarns. And the colors are vibrant and beautiful. Also, Premier has the best price on them I've found.
You can’t go wrong with malabrigo rios. I made a pillow with this - it’s so pretty. Soft too!
This particular mix of colors has an autumn feel. The yarn itself is soft, almost silky to the touch. I am planning on making cold weather hats and scarves with it. I expect it to work up nicely. So glad I chose it.
I have been collecting different colors to make a blanket, but it will have to wait until I finish the family blanket's I am working on at the moment.
