As soon as one of my favorite crafter YouTubers let us know it was out, I enthusiastically went to purchase this yarn. The skeins are wound tightly so the yarn does not appear to be soft while it is in the skein. Once it is being used, the softness can be felt. My reason for 3 stars? It splits and untwists. The first skein had a knot less than one yarn in. The starter strand on the second skein (good job on the start sticker) was jammed into a hard ball of yarn barf, and I had to dig with a metal crochet hook to get it loose. I intended to knit a mosaic blanket with 5 different colors, but I think hot pads and other utility items will be a better choice.
