Bloom is an easy-care, DK weight yarn with a range of colors from traditional to modern. This self-patterning yarn creates a floral or dot print at any gauge*; in knit or crochet. Generous yardage means fewer ends to join and less interruption of the stitch pattern, allowing you to make blankets, sweaters, toys, and accessories with ease.
If you want closer to the floral pattern look, you will need to follow the recommended gauge.
Knit vs Crochet with Bloom® - We recommend using single crochet stitches at the gauge listed above for best results when crocheting with this yarn. Keep in mind, your finished crochet fabric will look different than a finished knitted fabric would, due to the fact that crochet stitches vary greatly in width/and height and knit stitches are more consistent.

This DK yarn is easy to knit with. The self-patterning is great. There’s a lot of yardage so it’s economical. I plan to use it for more upcoming projects. I didn’t have any problem with the yarn splitting.

I love the way this yarn knits up, it’s quite unique and looks gorgeous on baby or child.
One skein goes a very long way and I only needed two for a 3-4 year old sweater.
Because it is acrylic it is machine washable on a gentle cycle, so very practical for everyday.

Acrylic, yes for purists. But acrylic has never irritated my skin and this is good quality. My second Bloom sweater and instructions are easy and yarn is soft and easy to work with

This yarn is so very soft, like butter! Does not split, super soft, and the color is vibrant and wonderful. I'm making a Square baby blanket in the round with Most stitch, and it's working up beautifully. I could not be more satisfied. Wonderful yarn to work with. I highly recommend it.
