I was surprised at how soft this yarn was, even with the sparkle threaded in. No problems with splitting or shedding, it wasn't rough on my hands - Just a wonderful smooth yarn to work with. I paired a thread of this gradient yarn with another premier yarn (pictured) and no tangling, no factory knots. The ombre effect is one long color change per skein, I matched up the thistle gradient and the ombre effect is stunning in a chevron pattern. Unfortunately the sparkle was hard to capture on camera.
