This Alpaca Blend Yarn is a tiny bit glittery and does NOT at all itch. Each ball made one Balaclava, enough for myself and two friends as Holiday gifts. I'm pleased.

Beautiful yarn. The shimmer is not overpowering, and the yarn is so soft. Perfect for the shawl.

Minus one star for polyester content. I'm surprised acrylic's crappy younger sibling is a fiber in this wonderful yarn. The rest of the stars is because alpaca is an amazing fiber, even down to the way it smells. This yarn is so soft, and squishy. You don't feel the glittery strand in it at all.

The purple is purple-ing! <3 It’s not lavender or pinkish like in the photos on the website. It’s actually a regular purple with lots of sparkles. This is the first time I ever purchased yarn just to look at it, and I don't mind that at all. What a lovely birthday present this was. I'm certain it'll work up into something amazing when I finally decide to use it.

Love the color, but I think there’s too much sparkling thread in it! I bought the cocoa color and that wasn’t so sparkly! I’m a little disappointed!

This yarn is beautiful to look at, but the texture is very coarse and wiry. Not at all soft.
