Due to the nature of the yarn, there might be some variations in hand touch and sheen. Quality may vary from the original Retro Velvet yarn which is why it is being offered at a deep discount.
The colors of the skeins were beautiful and vibrant. The texture was soft and I experienced very little shedding while working with this both while crocheting and knitting.
I had ordered the mink and the rose just to give it a whirl.
-Using a smaller hook then suggested in amigurumi project, this yarn provided a gorgeous result.
-The end project is so soft and feels expensive.
-Parfait chunky just came in second, they are both great but this is my new favorite.
So came back and ordered every other color. Let's not forget that it comes in three skeins that are 306 yards a piece. Even when it is not on sale that is 12.00 for over 900 yards!!
