I made a couple of hats with the mosaic yarn in the basix family. My only complaint is I wish they had more colors. It’s soft and hardly any splitting. The machine wash and dry is something I always want.

This was my first foray into Basix yarn, so I ordered several skeins of the Sea and liked it so much I ordered more after trying it out on a swatch. I am hoping to make a hat/scarf set.

I selected this yarn to knit my middle great granddaughter a tabard sweater for Christmas. Her favorite color is usually pink but when I asked what color she wanted me to use, she surprisedly answered Rainbow. And, what do you know, there actually was a yarn by that name. I gave her the choice of the Rainbow yarn or several pinks. She wanted the Rainbow. It was a delight to work with had generous yardage, and didn’t split. We just selected buttons for the sides. She’s going to love the sweater.
