This yarn is so soft and light due to its fiber content and chain-spun nature. I am using it as color A in a block stitch cardigan (crochet) and am lightly color controlling to ensure the front and back matches. I should only need 3 cakes, but I bought 2 bags of 3 just in case and I'm so glad I did! It seems when the cake was spun, if the yarn ran out, a random other bit of yarn was added to continue the cake. A few of the cakes are almost all grey/purple, and a few others are almost all tan/pink (photo attached). Be warned to buy extra, but it's great yarn, so I'm happy to have the extra, it will get used. This yarn is great for summery tops and light items, I bought numerous bags of 2 color ways and can easily see myself buying more in the future. I'm glad I saw it mentioned on BagODayCrochet's youtube channel or I never would have discovered and fallen in love with it.
