I purchased this yarn to make a blanket for a customer and I usually do not buy or use acrylic yarns but I needed a lot of yardage. I must say that I was extremely pleasantly surprised by the yardage, no splitting, fraying, pilling or knots in any of the yarns I bought ( purchased 8 skeins). It was soft and not squeaky at all. I will definitely buy this yarn again. The blanket turned out great with minimal weaving in of ends. Here is a picture of the blanket.

I was surprised how much yarn was in this skein. One ball is enough to do back, fronts, pockets, & possibly 1 sleeve of the sweater. Now I will have enough yarn left over to make scarves, mittens and hats for winter give-aways.
So far, no breaks in the yarn.
Stitch definition is great.

I love the Basix line of yarn and it's so awesome to have a bigger skein now! Super convenient and it's the same ol trusted yarn. Same price as the regular skeins but you get 2 in one. Can't wait for more colors!
