This is one of my favorite yarns ever. I love using it so much. However, there is a massive problem with the marketing and branding on this yarn. This yarn is obviously velvet mini chenille. The label says this is a weight six bulky yarn, with an 8 mm hook. That is WAY off. I use between a 2.5 mm and a 4mm hook for this, and it’s obviously a velvet yarn. When used with a far smaller hook, it becomes a wonderful yarn. I’ve made great stuff with it! But the current label only sets customers up for disappointment. It makes this yarn look like it’s an inferior yarn. Somebody needs to get on the rebranding ASAP. And please start selling it somewhere other than Dollar Tree, and in more affordable amounts on the website (like in 4 or 5 skein packs or something). If Premier renamed this stuff, it would sell infinitely better and bring so much more business. Love it and will keep buying (whenever I can find it!) , but I figured I needed to say something about this.

Love everything about it

This is the first time I've ever crocheted with chenille (I've been crocheting over 50 yrs!) and I love it! My latest project is a black and white portrait of my grandson as a gift to my daughter. I find it easy to work with and so far, have not had any problems with it. I will be buying more!
