"Vivid" is well named. Very bright colors, which knit up beautifully--you get a pretty long run of one color before it changes to the next. This yarn is soft, too. It's definitely suitable for garments worn next to skin. Center-pull cake worked well- no yarn "barf" from the middle. I don't know how they offer this yarn at such a good price, but I'm glad they do.
