Beautiful yarn

I love Muir Woods Yarn. I have worked with the Mt Tam before & wanted to try a new color - Steelhead. Just received it today and am excited to get started on a little jacket or shrug for one of my sisters. (I used to live in Marin County. And went by Mt. Tam every day).

Thin yarn many colors.

Soft, no splits, easy to use. I used this yarn for the bottom ribbing of a sweater and for the wrists as well as the collar of a blue sweater that I made for a friend. I did not take any photos but I will next time I see her.

Yarn That Has That Outdoorsy Look

So pleased with this yarn that I purchased three each of Sorell, Blackberry and Sequoia to make hats. The texture is easy to work with and the colors are gorgeous. I would recommend this yarn for the colors alone!

Lovely to work with

This yarn reminds me of the north short of WI/MN with it's beautiful colors. It's soft and great to work with. Is this perhaps names after John Muir, the environmentalist?
