this yarn is beautiful and soft and crochets like a dream. I am making a scarf now using the Hag stitch and will make a matching hat when I finish. I am enjoying working with this yarn and looking forward to the finished items. I will buy this yarn again.
I didn't know anything at all about this yarn when I purchased it and was unsure since I thought it might be scratchy. But it's NOT - so soft and beautiful. It is so wonderful and the transition of colors in the various selections works so well. I made this blanket for a friend battling cancer and he was overwhelmed. I have to say it is the favorite piece I have ever made. This is a combination of the Columbia, Rainforest, Steel, True Blue, Sumatra and Turquoise with just a little Sandstone thrown in. I've also made scarves, one each in the True Blue, Coral Reef, Kona, Sundown and Rainforest.
I absolutely love this beautiful yarn!! I have made 6 wraps from it now and always receive compliments when wearing them. I have made my daughter one and she loves it too and said that she can be cold and within 10 minutes of wearing it she is right back to being warm. The yarn is lovely!!
This is the second time that I have bought Coffee Shop yarn. I liked the first vest I made so much, I wanted more in a different color. It knits nicely and is very soft. My favorite thing is that the people who chose the color blend do a very good job It is beautiful. My only comment is that if you want the stripes to match front and back, you have to start the second side with a new ball of yarn.
