So Soft and Gorgeous Colors

This was both my first order from Premier and my first mohair-blend yarn. I was a little worried that the mohair might be itchy, but Premier Chamonix Yarn softens it up with just the right amount of acrylic, making it smooth and soft. The added acrylic helps with stitch definition as well: You'll still get a bit of that fluffy look of mohair, but not so much that you won't be able to really see even more intricate stitch work. The drape is excellent, and I can see this working up into shawls that are perfect spring and fall weight: cozy, but light and not too warm. All in all, I'd buy it again and say the pictures don't do the colors justice.

Yarn Fun

Well...after using mainly bulky yarns lately, I found it difficult to go to such a thin yarn....but it is a lengthy project so hopefully I will find my rhythm with it. It is very soft and I’m sure it will be beautiful when I get it finished.
