This lovely ruana is knit in Deborah Norville Serenity Chunky Heathers. The twisted cable is a 28-row repeat and the ruana ties on with I-cord ties on the sides and front. While the pattern is generously one size, adding extra width is a snap by simply adding a few extra stitches between the cable panels, adding stitches on both sides or adding extra width to the ribbed trim.
